Malte I zu Putbus was raised to an Imperial Count and Baron of Putbus. Grandson of Malte I and his direct senior heir sold the Danish baronies in 1780 and his son was later created Prince of Putubus in Sweden which was later recognized by Prussia for him, his daughters and his eldest daughter's descendants
Indeed, doesn't change the fact that it was a Swedish branch, it has nr 79, https://www.adelsvapen.com/genealogi/Putbus_nr_79. -> It doesn't make much sense since it's the same family admitted into Swedish nobility and service (later Prussian)...
