    • Guillaume II, Lord of Montagu - had descendants (senior line)
    • Alexandre, Lord of Sombernon - had descendants (cadet branch)
  • Do you have the source for the bordure engrailed of Couches?
  • This is the Wikipedia entry on the author Pere Anselme [3]. In short, he is the original source for most of the usable French genealogies today. The Wikipedians may have omitted the continuation of the senior line of Montagu in favor of the Sombernons who survived longer.
