<!-- After another look at this family and their heraldry it seems they actually used two to three coat of arms. The whole idea that they ruled a certain county named "Weimar-Orlamunde" is a false notion by my own misunderstanding of German sources. The two counties were in fact separate and after Hermann II died (his wife was Andechs) his two sons divided the inheritance. Elder son took Orlamunde and led the Meissen lion with the additions of hearts, while the younger son seems to have taken his mothers arms with a difference of tincture...this can be seen on Otto III's (Weimar branch) effigy and other.  -->
