In 1795 he was further created Viscount Oxmantown but with reminder to his heirs male of his body and in 1806 created Earl of Rosse (2nd creation) with same reminder to his nephew as the barony...at his death his nephew succeeded to the Barony and Earldom, while Viscountcy became extinct.
