Ironically he's rather well known and has even been studied in papers as he is also the same Bâtard de Coucy metionned in the "Livre des cent ballades". He served Enguerrand VII who arranged his marriage to the heiress of Travecy (there's more on this w/ the house of Caix, another suspected cadet branch of Boves-Coucy) but is not his bastard son (he had one, Perceval who is well documented). I would leave him here by default (more likely as the other side of the family is better documented). -->
