Line 1: Line 1:
- I can confirm Gravate is for Croatia. The form is akin to the (german) legend in other rolls : Crabatten, Krabatten, Carbatten, Carbater, etc. Most notably ''graff carbater'' from a contemporary roll (Miltenberger) using the arms of the Frangipani.
- Griffonia is usually for Greece (the king of griff)/Alexander. Similar to many other rolls.
- Estonel. Those are the arms used for the "great turk" in a couple other rolls and it certainly sounds like a corrupted form for Istanbul.
