+Meinhardiners and the original Eschenlohe family i.e. Counts of Eschenlohe-Hertenberg (called by Hörtenberg castle) were related through female line (by marriage of women from Tyrol family) as Berthold III of Eschenlohe married Mathilde of Tyrol (daughter of Heinrich I of Tyrol) and Meinhard II of Gorizia married another daughter (probably Agnes) as his 3rd wife. Both were sisters of Albrecht IV of Tyrol, however, the marriage of Meninhard and Agnes (?) was childless. But in next generation Meinhard III of Gorizia-Tyrol married Adelheid, daughter and heiress of Albrecht IV and thus a niece of Mathilde who was the mother of Berthold IV of Eschenlohe. Thus Berthold IV of Eschenlohe i.e last Count of Eschenlohe-Hertenberg (died after 1295) was related by blood through Tyrol line to Meinhard IV/II. As they were related, they on several occasions exchanged (bought and sold) property to each other. It is so that Meinhardiners (Meinhard II of Carinthia and Tyrol) obtained the castles of Hörtenberg and Königsberg and passed it to his illegitimate son Heinrich (some say he was actually an illegitimate son of Heinrich/Henry, ex-King of Bohemia) whos line then called themselves "Counts of Eschenlohe" or "Counts of Königsberg". Königsberg refers to modern-day Castello di Monreale in Trent and was passed down to Thun von Hohenstein family who quartered this arms as successors. Arms of this illegitimate Meinhardiner Eschenlohe line is that of original Eschenloche family with reversed tinctures  -->
