User talk:Tolkienist gentleman
Hello, in response to your email, I removed those lines from both pages simply because none of it is true. I don't think obvious anachronisms (like awarding, augmenting or quartering of arms in primitive heraldry) and legends have a place here or need our help being spread even more (it's probably already painted all over wikipedia).
Completely unrelated but can you please avoid using those hybrid language forms ? André de Brienne or Andrew of Brienne are both valid, but André of Brienne just sounds extremely weird in french (that norman individuals always keep their french particle forms but french ones get systematically anglicized has always been an illogical practice anyway). I'd edit myself but I'd rather not touch those crusade pages as they are too far gone (full of inaccuracies and wrong or anachronistic attributions).
