The Battle at Rook's Rest was the first battle fought between dragonriders during the Dance of the Dragons, taking place in late 129 AC between Ser Criston Cole's host and the defenders of Rook's Rest. The battle ended in a victory for the Greens, marked by the first death of a dragon and its rider during the war.
