Aerion Targaryen

A historical character in George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series.
Born the 2nd son of Maekar Targaryen, who ruled as King from 221 to 233 AC, and infamous for his cruelty and insanity in life, and the manner of his death.
Aerion appears in The Hedge Knight, a short story set in Westeros, 90 years before the events of A Game of Thrones.
