Sentinels of the Motherland
The Sentinels of the Motherland was a paramilitary political movement started by King Charles II in 1935 to counter the growing influence that The Legion of Archangel Michael had over the youth of Romania. Its members were known as Sentinels, and used a form of the Roman salute as greeting. Its leader, King Charles II, was known as the Great Sentinel and the Sentinels had to swear allegiance to him in the form of a credo.
