Suggestion. While the page Ducs non pairs is all nice and dandy it would also be nice if there would be a page or section about the duchies themselves...being lined up in concession from the earliest to youngest in creation, like they were on main page which you removed recently...but ofc expanded. It is nice to see when and what person got erected into duke however it is quite confusing and messy. Also I've been looking into Marquisats as well recently so it would perhaps be good to start working on that as well. We already have the first two Marquisats (probably more) which are Marquisat of Trans (Villenueve creation in 1505) and Fimarcon (Logmagne-Fimarcon creation in 1502). I am sorry but that is not the answer I am looking for. I am asking you for the specific source you base your claim that the tinctures reversed. Wikipedia or even HE are not valid sources...unless we don't have anything else. Here we have the arms from Order of the Holy Spirit in color. And WE KNOW that the only difference between pre-1645 and post-1645 arms was the addition of the escutcheon. No mention of tinctures change. So I am still waiting.
