Sir John Chandos was a member of the Radbourne branch which carried "Argent, a pile gules". There are numerous contemporary sources/armorials which illustrate arms of him and his father correctly, the garter stall was made some 50 years after he already died as well as Willament's Roll which was made about 35 years after his death. -->
