Btw. I see you reverted my change on [[Kingdm of Airgíalla]]. You should know there are actually two main MacMahon families/clans and those MacMahons whose coa we currently have are '''not''' the MacMahons that ruled in Airgíalla/Oriel. There are actually two MacMahon families totally unrelated to each other. The MacMahons with lions reguardant arms are from Southwest Ireland, modern County Clare, ancient Thomond and are in fact a branch from O'Brien's...namely they ruled the area known as Corcabaskin. The MacMahons in Ulster are, as said, totally different family and was actually the main family until mid-17th century in Oriel when their chief was killed. Would you explain to me the recent changes to Burgundy Montagu? What is the source for the coat of arms with plain white canton? I've never seen that variant, always with canton hermine. Also, lords of Sombernon were not a cadet branch but the same main branch which changed possession of Montagu with mentioned Sombernon. Couches also used a specific arms with bordure engrailed until they've become main line after the dukes died out in male line and adopted undifferenced arms.

Would you explain to me the recent changes to Burgundy Montagu? What is the source for the coat of arms with plain white canton? I've never seen that variant, always with canton hermine. Also, lords of Sombernon were not a cadet branch but the same main branch which changed possession of Montagu with mentioned Sombernon. Couches also used a specific arms with bordure engrailed until they've become main line after the dukes died out in male line and adopted undifferenced arms.
