The Landing of the Golden Company is an ongoing invasion of the Stormlands by the forces of the Golden Company and the supposed surviving son of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, Aegon VI Targaryen.
The invasion has seen the capture and subjugation of several Stormlander castles, with a potential clash drawing near between the invading forces under King Aegon VI Targaryen and the loyalist forces of King Tommen I Baratheon of King's Landing, under the command of the recently-appointed Hand of the King, Mace Tyrell.
The remaining forces loyal to Stannis I Baratheon in the Stormlands are also subjected to the invasion.
