The Red Wedding was an orchestrated assassination plot at the Twins during the War of the Five Kings in the 299th year since Aegon's Conquest.
Under the guise of the wedding feast of Edmure Tully, Lord of Riverrun, and Roslin Frey, Lords Frey, Lannister, and Bolton plotted the assassination of the King in the North and his retinue.
The King Robb Stark, his mother Catelyn Stark, Dowager Lady of Winterfell, and most of his thirty-five hundred soldiers were slaughtered.
