As far as I can see for now the arms of the earlier Counts of Nidda  (last Count died 1205) is unknown. The Ziegenhain family (earlier Reichenbach) inherited Nidda, two counties were ruled together for a time until separated by descendants of two brothers. The two lines were once again reunited in 1333 when the two counties and their arms were joined (dimidiated version). -->
