The Second Blackfyre Rebellion was a thwarted conspiracy wherein several minor lords sought to launch a second rebellion to elevate Daemon II Blackfyre to the Iron Throne. The conspiracy was subsequent exposed and brought to an end by Lord Brynden Rivers, with the unexpected aid of Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, Egg.
The Second Blackfyre Rebellion is the subject of the third novella in the Dunk and Egg series, The Mystery Knight.
