The Battle of the Blackwater was a major battle during the War of the Five Kings in the 299th year since Aegon's Conquest.
It was fought between the loyalist forces of King Joffrey I Baratheon of King's Landing and the rebel forces of claimant King Stannis I Baratheon of Dragonstone.
The battle concluded in a decisive victory for House Baratheon of King's Landing.
