''Dux totius Sclavoniae'' (''Duke of Whole Slavonia''), also known as ''Duke of Croatia and Dalmatia'', was a title<br>usually bestowed upon heirs and other younger sons (or relatives) of the monarchs of Hungary and Croatia (13th-15th century). <!-- Dukes of Slavonia were fundamentally royal and hereditary rulers of Croatian kingdom and in general junior kings of Hungary and Croatia. It worked in such a way that the function of the Duke was in essence the same thing a Ban (Viceroy) would do in the absence of a royal Duke/Junior King. The term "Whole Slavonia" (Slavonia being an exonym i.e. from a Hungarian perspective) encompassed the entire territory from the Drava river down to the Adriatic Sea i.e. Croatian-Dalmatian kingdom.  -->
