This younger son William (Guillaume) inherited both Fezensac and Armagnac...upon his death in 965 his eldest son Odon inherited Fezensac and his younger son Bernard inherited Armagnac. The two counties reunited some 200 years later when Anicelle, Countess of Fezensac married Geraud III of Armagnac and their son Bernanrd IV inherited both counties from his father and his mother. Both branches used (most likely) the same red lion of Gascony as their arms.  -->
