The ''Grand Armorial équestre de la Toison d'or'' is one of the most renowned medieval armorials.<br>It contains about 80 figures presented as knights in full heraldic armor (the eponymous ''équestres'') and more than 900 coats of arms from all over Europe.<br>Each ''équestre'' has its own folio, while other folios have a maximum of 25 coats of arms.
