Henneberg.svg|House of Henneberg
Lords of Straufhain, Coburg, Schleusingen and Hartenberg
Burgraves of Würzburg
Counts of Henneberg and Schweinfurt
Counts of Henneberg-Hartenberg<!-- Earlier members of this dynasty are referred to as ''Elder House of Babenberg'' or ''Babenberger'' and ''Popponids''. This dynasty is earlier known as "Popponids" and also as "House of Babenberg" (not to be confused with Austrian Babenberg's who are of different origin) and ruled Franconia as Margraves and Dukes until the conflict with Conradine dynasty. The line then continues until the beginning of 13th century when Poppo VI has three sons, the eldest son Berthold II inherits his father and has a son who dies without issue, the main line then continues by Poppo VII, 2nd son of Poppo VI and younger brother of Berthold II. The 3rd son of Poppo VI was Otto who founded the Botenlauben branch. Poppo VII has two sons, eldest Heinrich III who is progenitor of Hartenberg, Schleusingen and Aschach-Romhild branch and younger Hermann I who founded Coburg and was succeeded by his son and then his daughter whereas Coburg passes to Ascanians and eventually to Wettin dynasty. Heinrich III had three sons who divided the possessions, from eldest Heinrich IV main line became Henneberg-Hartenberg, 2nd son was Berthold V, progenitor of Schleusingen branch and 3rd youngest was Herman II, progenitor of Aschasch-Romhild branch. All lines went extinct by mid 16th century.
