<gallery caption="Coat of Arms" align=center style= "color: #292929;font-size:1.2em;font-weight: normal;text-align:center;font-style: normal;"> Heinrich dem Lowen.svg|House of Welf
Margraves of Milan
Dukes of Bavaria and Saxony
Ancient arms
Earlier members of this family were referred to as ''Obertenghi'' or ''Adalbertini'' Pfalz.svg|House of Welf
Counts Palatine of the Rhine
Arms assumed from [[House of Hohenstaufen|Hohenstaufen family]] as successors in Palatinate of Rhine
From ca.1195 </gallery> <gallery caption="Personal Arms" align=center style= "color: #292929;font-size:1.2em;font-weight: normal;text-align:center;font-style: normal;"> Otto IV Welf.svg|Otto IV Welf
Emperor of Holy Roman Empire
Alternative arms from Otto IV and Beatrice of Hohenstaufen wedding-chest in 1209
Same arms is found on the pommel of Otto's Imperial Sword HRE-Welfen.svg|Otto IV Welf
Emperor of Holy Roman Empire
Attributed ''Or variant'' arms </gallery>
